Welcome to
Waunakee Boys Youth Lacrosse
We provide recreational and competitive lacrosse opportunities for boys grades Kindergarten-8 in the Waunakee Community School District. The youth lacrosse season runs from March to June each year, and we offer additional information and opportunities to play and learn lacrosse throughout the year. The youth lacrosse season offers 6U thru 14U programs.

Practices and Games
- Team practices take place at Tierney Park in Waunakee's Kilkenny Neighborhood. Early season practices (3/17-4/14) are scheduled at Keva Sports Center in Middleton. Some are also scheduled at GRB in Deforest.
- Home games are on Saturdays or Sundays, generally at Tierney Park.
- Warrior Stadium is also occasionally used by the program.
- Away games are at parks in other towns generally in Dane County.
- Teams may also attend several weekend tournaments in the State. We are tentatively planning on several teams attending tournaments (Dates TBD) so please get these on your calendars. We will do our very best to get schedule information to our members as quickly as possible.

- 6U - Tuesday and Thursday beginning April 15: 5:00-6:00
- 8U/10U - Tuesday and Thursday, beginning March 18
- 3/18 thru 4/14 (8U - Tue/Thu, 5-6pm, 10U, Tue/Thu 6-7pm)
- 4/15 thru end of season (8U and 10U, Tue/Thu, 5:30-7pm)
- 12U/14U - Monday, Wednesday and Friday, beginning March 17
- 3/18 thru 4/14 (12U - Mon/Wed/Fri 5-6pm, 14U, Mon/Wed/Fri 6-8pm)
- 4/15 thru end of season (12U and 14U, Mon/Wed/Fri, 5:30-7pm

Code of Conduct
- All parents and players are expected to follow the sportmanship and conduct expectations of USA Lacrosse, as outlined in the documents below.
2025 Youth Programs
6U - Kindergarten Boys - $100
- Note: The 6U program is designed as an introduction to lacrosse. Practices will focus on skill development with eventual inter-squad scrimmage(s). There will be no other weekend events or games against other clubs. Full equipment is required.
8U - 1st & 2nd Grade Boy - $150
10U - 3rd & 4th Grade Boys - $250
12U - 5th & 6th Grade Boys - $350
14U - 7th & 8th Grade Boys - $350
Registration for the 2025 season open January 1st, 2025
Equipment
To play lacrosse your child will need the following equipment. Note: Practice and game jerseys are provided by the program

- Stick (Length with head must be 38” - 42”. We recommend cutting sticks down to 38” for smaller U8/U10 players)
